This SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18th 2004 Anderson Valley Grange, Booneville CA.
9800 Hwy 128 Off the 101 North (from Bay Area) 9pm – 12pm noon Sunday and More...

Greetings and Salutations from the Gaiasphere…
We welcome you to the culmination of the years best energy and spirit, all composed in a ritual dance and harvest ball called GEO SOLSTICE. Winter solstice rituals have been the center of our human gatherings since before time was recorded. New Years, Hanukah, Christmas, and Quanza all have their roots in the actual day of Winter Solstice.
To Celebrate, all the tribes have come together to form the ritual mid winter reunion. Each brings their specialty and a little extra magic from the secret regions to share. In doing so, the grand total is much more than the sum of its parts. So get ready for the end of the years ride of your life, set with the intentions of hope, peace, love, and building stronger community for the coming year.
With all of this wildness in mind, we will be partying from the opening ritual at 9pm till 12pm noon on Sunday the 19th and beyond. Starting the energy off right a 30 minute stretching and loosening of muscles will be set to soothing downtempo. At 9:30 the opening ritual will be lead by the Phoenix Family and will commence the dance with a group intention for the evening and the New Year to come…

There is lodging available in Booneville and there will be ample space available inside the grange to make a cozy place to rest until the afternoon on Sunday. We urge everyone to carpool. When visiting this peaceful quiet forest community we implore everyone to be on their best behavior and to drive safely and at the legal speed limit. Also trespassing in the local area outside the grange is prohibited so please respect this great place ?.
The party is 18 and up with ID required as a regulation for use of the venue.
Please dress up, wild party outfits are encouraged as we will be documenting the evening to share the event with future generations of partiers.
Refreshments, Snacks, Smoothies and Chai are available for the duration of the event. Certified Massage Therapy experts will be on duty to ensure maximum healing while this marathon dance gathering ensues on the beautiful sprung hardwood dance hall floors.
No Alcohol allowed on grange premises. $20 At the door all night.

Where to Stay
Boonville is home to 700 people and has several good bed and breakfast homes. Toll House Inn (707-895-3650) is the best of the lot;a 1912 Victorian farmhouse on 360 acres with fireplaces in the rooms, a garden with a hot tub, antique furnishings, and full breakfast is served ($$). Dinner is available in the excellent restaurant. Another fine place to stay is the Anderson Creek Inn (707-893-3091) a modern ranch house with four rooms, fireplaces, swimming pool, library, bicycles for exploring the countryside and full breakfast. Picnic baskets are available on request ($ to $$).
Bear Wallow Resort (707-895-3335) is four miles west of town on Mountain View Road with one and two-bedroom cabins set in the redwoods. Prices are moderate, including the cost of meals served in the Dinner House restaurant ($ to $$). The restaurant is closed during winter months.
New Boonville Hotel is a rustic and ramshackle place, which has quite a remarkable restaurant with California cuisine the specialty, using locally grown fresh vegetables and herbs, plus local lamb ($$ to $$$).
West of Boonville, Philo marks the beginning of the winery area and here the Anderson Valley Inn (707-855-3325) provides B accommodations in its seven rooms. The inn is located on Hwy. 128 ($). The Blackberry Inn Bed and Breakfast (707-895-2961) has four rooms in a modern home with a swimming pool ($$).
The Anderson Valley has become home to a growing group of artists and crafts people. Philo Pottery Inn (707-895-3069) offers the intriguing combination of a bed & breakfast operation with a pottery gallery and store that displays local crafts ($ to $$).
